Do Good Service Opportunities


All the following off-site service projects are in Roswell and are listed in order of need. Both adults and teens may volunteer for any of these opportunities:

Children’s Development Academy 9:00am-1:00pm
• Wooden rail repair (around flower beds).
• Lay down cedar mulch in flower beds.

North Fulton Community Charities 9:30am-1:30pm
ALL SPOTS ARE FILLED 

The Drake House Resale Boutique 9:00am-12:00pm
Yard beautification projects including pressure washing, raking & repainting.

Foster Care Support Foundation Distribution Center 9:30am-12:30pm
• Sort, size or restock clothing.
• Babysit children while the moms shop.
• Clean, assemble and inspect infant equipment.
• Sort toys & account for all game & puzzle pieces.

We are also offering on-site service projects for families. One parent must stay and assist their children.

Ronald McDonald House -Tapestry Classroom 2/3 - 9:00-10:00am
Assembling snack bags and hygiene kits for the families they serve.

Roswell Nursing & Rehab Ctr - Tapestry Classroom 2/3 - 9:00-10:00am
Making cards and assembling blessing bags for their residents.

When done assembling the gift bags, it's playtime at Roswell Park!

Volunteers will meet at Tapestry at 8:30am for coffee, pastries, directions and to pick up their t-shirts before dispersing. Click on the DO GOOD button to sign-up for any of the above service opportunities.

ALL CAN PARTICIPATE! 
Bring new or slightly used coats, scarves hats & gloves as well as new travel size toiletries, fuzzy socks and snacks to Tapestry by Sunday, October 20th and deposit them in the designated donation drop box.
