Well Church, we made it! We’re half way through 2020! What a year so far. It began with a presidential impeachment, moved into a worldwide pandemic, took a turn toward rioting over racial injustice and threw in a Saharan sand storm for good measure. Add to that information overload and political posturing that camouflages the truth and you’ve got a recipe for confusion, fear and fatigue. How do we respond to all this as followers of Christ?

We press on! Perseverance is the gateway virtue. It always leads to hope. Sometimes all you can do is hang on and wait for a better day. And that day is coming as we turn the corner in 2020 and trust the Lord to conform our character to His!

“We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint...”
Romans 5:3-4 (NIV)

Hang in there Church!
