In a recent interview on “The Today Show” the Bush twins divulged that they had been visited by a “paranormal spirit” twice while living in the White House. Jenna Bush Hager said, “My phone rang, it woke us up in the middle of the night. We had a fireplace in our room, and all of a sudden we started hearing, like, 1920’s music, as clear as day, coming out of the fireplace. I jumped in my sister’s bed, she was also awake. The next week we heard the same thing-but opera. And we talked ourselves out of it, but then I told Buddy, one of my favorite men in the world, who still works at the White House and he said, ‘Oh, Jenna, you wouldn’t believe what I’ve heard.”
The former president’s daughter goes on to say of the White House, “It’s haunted! It’s scary, but they came with all good intentions. They were friendly ghosts.”
Are ghosts real? Do suspicious spirits linger in this world, friendly or otherwise? Have you had an encounter that you can’t explain? I’m fascinated by all this, so this Sunday at Tapestry, just a few days before Halloween, I’m diving into the scripture to find some answers on God & Ghosts. Are they real? Should we be concerned…afraid? As Christians, how do we process all this paranormal propaganda?
Invite a friend or two and join us Sunday morning at 11:00am for this timely and relevant message.
